Since 2015, Silverback has been a benchmark in spring-powered bolt-action airsoft rifles.
The SRS platform set new standards in consistency, silence, and mechanical efficiency, and remains aа reference worldwide.
In 2021, this expertise led to the TAC-41 platform, a more traditional non-bullpup design inspired by the SRS mechanics, while introducing new features focused on accessibility, modularity, and ease of use.
With the VKS, Silverback returns to its bullpup roots.
The platform shares key mechanical components with the SRS, including the cylinder, piston, and spring guide. The VKS also retains the same usable air volume of 41 cc as both the SRS and TAC-41, ensuring consistent performance across the range. Proven elements from the TAC-41, such as the TDC hop-up system and a high-capacity magazine, are also integrated. Together, these shared components and design choices give users immediate access to a wide catalog of existing upgrade and spare parts from day one, while delivering a silent, realistic, and highly efficient platform.
The VKS platform is available in both spring-powered and HPA configurations, expanding the range of options available to precision airsoft players.
During the development of the VKS, particular attention was given to ease of maintenance. The rifle features a realistic disassembly process that is largely tool-less, making routine servicing simple and intuitive. Special care was also taken to optimize the internal mechanics, resulting in what is likely one of the quietest spring-powered bolt-action platforms currently available in airsoft.
Given the size of the suppressor, it felt like a reasonable expectation.
